After handling hundreds of registrations, a handful of avoidable mistakes account for most CAMIS application delays and rejections. Catching these before submission can save weeks.
1. Mismatched Company Names
The company name on your MOA must exactly match the name reserved on CAMIS — including the Nepali Unicode spelling. Even a single character difference triggers rejection.
2. Missing NID Numbers
Since 2082 BS, National ID numbers are mandatory for all promoters. Applications submitted without them are rejected automatically, no exceptions.
3. Expired Name Reservation
Name reservations are valid for a strict 35-day window. If your documents aren't ready in time, you'll need to reserve the name again from scratch.
4. Incorrect Capital Declaration
The authorized capital stated in your MOA must match exactly what you declared in the online CAMIS application. Any mismatch — even a rounding difference — causes a hold.
5. Unsigned Witness Copies
Witness citizenship copies must be personally signed by the witnesses themselves, not just attached as photocopies.
A second pair of professional eyes before submission catches nearly all of these. Company Sathi reviews every document before it goes to OCR.
